Kacy – Permaculture Gardener
Southern Maryland
August 2025
“I’ve been gardening since I was three years old, and this was the most difficult soil I’ve ever worked with.”
When I moved to southern Maryland, I bought a property with raised herb beds filled with sassafras soil — hard as kiln-dried bricks. The beds were shallow, only about 6 inches deep, and weed cloth ran underneath them, essentially turning them into containers. Years of neglect and contamination from construction dust made things worse. Despite all my gardening experience — including organic and permaculture methods — nothing would grow. I was ready to give up.Then I met Pam from Stardust Organics and she introduced me to Feedback and Microbes.
“Pam taught me something I’d never done before — how to grow soil.”

Soil restoration began March 29, 2025 using FBLC and soil microbes (top)
Plantings reached size and vitality by June 2025 (bottom)
Following her guidance, I built layers using moss, straw, and local compost, then began applying Feedback and Microbes religiously every Sunday and Wednesday. I trusted the process… and slowly, life returned. The soil softened. Worms appeared. And soon, herbs and flowers from local Amish farmers began to thrive.
“The beds went from compacted, 9+ alkaline, and lifeless to lush, productive, and full of pollinators.”

Now, I harvest herbs daily. I have vibrant blooms for my home, tea plants, and a steady hum of bees and butterflies. This little culinary garden brings me more joy than I ever expected — especially after everything it’s been through.
“I highly recommend Stardust Organics — especially Feedback and Microbes. Whether you’re starting fresh or trying to save a struggling garden, they make all the difference.”

“This stuff is MAGIC!”
I’ve been a loyal customer since the early ’90s, and I’ve brought Feedback with me to every place I’ve lived. Through all the brutal New England seasons, it’s been my go-to. Just 2 gallons is enough to support both my gardens and lawns all year.
This year I planted fig trees, and they’ve already tripled in size — and I have figs growing!
“You won’t be disappointed — and you’ll wonder why you ever bought anything else. 10 STARS!”
