Compromised Soil

SoilZyme in a nutshell is a product that helps move water through compacted soil.
 
Compacted soils are a problem for many reasons. Compacted soil prevents a natural gas exchange between oxygen and carbon dioxide cycling from atmosphere to soil preventing a deep rooting system. 
 
Basically, this creates anaerobic soils or lack of oxygen (we need aerobic soil and we need aerobic breathing microbes (SOIL ECOLIZER EM2) for healthy soil conditions to prosper)
 
Also, Water sitting on top of the ground weakens plant stems and creates an opportunity for plant pathogens to attack plants. If plants stay wet too long, pathogenic fungus molds can start to grow in the water and on the plant stem and begin to infect/decompose the plant.
