Algae covered ponds can be restored with Aquatic Ecolizer™ blend of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Aquatic Ecolizer will not harm fish, birds or any aquatic animal life. Aquatic Ecolizer® works by depriving algae of its food source thus killing the algae. Organic matter,(dead algae bodies, decaying leaves, muck, etc.) on the pond bottom will be broken down by the safe anaerobic bacteria in Aquatic Ecolizer down to the mineral bed of the pond.
Use Aquatic Ecolizer™ at the rate of (1) lbs. per acre foot of water to a depth of 5 feet. ie: a 1 acre pond 4 feet deep would use 4 lbs. Ecolizer 4H3.
