| Dear Pamela, |

|
| Hello From Pamela |
Perhaps the most important thing I have learned while praticing Organics is that when doing something naturally it is best to do less and trust more. That can be very hard! We are conditioned to want results right now! Immediately! We want a quick fix, and instant confirmation! Hmmm. There is something very uncomfortable about releasing the control. It is sometimes harder to let things unfold naturally, slowly and perfectly.
You can learn alot observing what amazing intelligence Nature has. Some of the most profound things I have learned I have learned from the horses in my life. But certainly not by forcing them to show me. Everyone knows that you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make them drink it! The same is true for the enviroment, when you work with Organics you will fast realize that Nature also has a mind of its own. |
| FeedBack® Liquid Compost vs Compost Tea |
In this article you will find the main definitions of what each product is. Compost Teas that you manufacture at home will require equipment, and you will have to use right away. Our Feedback has a guaranteed shelf life for over a year, and all it requires is water. Used along with our dry bacteria is the perfect soil innoculant and soil food. All that is needed is water added to both! ...more |

| Why is organic better for my lawn? |
There are multiple reasons why organic products are the best choice in lawn care. They are safer for humans, pets and the environment than synthetic fertilizers and pesticides; They improve the quality of the soil, which will have an increased ability to retain water and nutrients; You will enjoy significant financial savings by transitioning from synthetic to organic lawn care, especially after the first year of use; Organic products will significantly reduce pests by restoring balance to your lawn's ecosystem; You will benefit from reduced maintenance in mowing, watering and fertilizing because you will have a naturally stronger and healthier lawn ...more
What are the main differences between synthetic and organic lawn care? Synthetic pesticides and fertilizers destroy the naturally present beneficial organisms in a healthy lawn's ecosystem. This destruction then transforms your lawn into an increasingly needy "junkie," requiring more and more chemicals to sustain it. Organic lawn care focuses instead on soil management techniques and long term results, building up the nutrients and organisms in the soil in order to make your lawn better able to withstand drought, pests, and other common problems. Organic lawn care also eliminates damage to the environment and to human and animal health caused by synthetic lawn care products. ...more

| Do what you love! |
|
This year I have had each property I care for respond differently to my soil conditioners . Each one is Organic for the first time. One of the properties is featured above. All are as different as we individuals are. Some are responding quickly, others are responding slowly and uniquely. On all the properties, beneficial helpers and messengers have arrived. Butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, bees, and much more....
You cannot go wrong trusting Nature. There are things that can be done to assist the healing like adding the right soil amendments. There is also alot that you don't have to do anymore. After healing the soil, you hardly need anything to keep it in pristine fertility.
This month summer officially arrives, so far it is a great growing season here in the Northeast. Plenty of rain and sunshine, so much opportunity for great growing! Have a great June and do what you love! Sincerely, Pamela Rickenbach | |
