So many of us dream of
having a farm and creating a healthy and wholesome lifestyle.
Glenn and
I had the opportunity to care for a farm in Upstate New York in 2004. We cared
for a herd of horses, sheep, chickens, llamas and a large vegetable garden. We
did learn that this is the life we want. We also learned that it would be best
to share this dream with others. It is a lot of work, all gratifying and
definitely something that is community building. We got to meet and work with
the farmers in the area. There are all kinds of farmers in Upstate New York,
there are a lot of dairy farmers.
There are specific challenges to the
type of farm you have. So here in this section we will meet the people living
this dream. If you are one and you would like to share your experience please
